Extendamatic Fencing

Permanently Mounted Extendamatic Fencing

Permanent Extendamatic fencing comes in quite a few configurations and stock sizes. Each safety fence comes with installation instructions and hardware such as concrete anchors and shims for leveling latch posts and anchors. When you order a permanent Extendamatic safety fence, the representative will need to know a few key pieces of information:

* The width of the opening for which the fence is intended
* If you do or do not need a post foot for the anchor
* If you need a latch block or latch post
* And if you want the optional interlocking wiring.

If the Extendamatic fencing will be attached to a machine, you will need a no-foot post anchor; these come with latch blocks. The other type of fencing is meant for installation directly to the floor; these come with anchor bolts. And if you plan to connect a sound alarm, the fencing can be ordered with the optional interlocking wiring. All permanent Extendamatics come with a five-inch swivel wheel.

Portable Extendamatic Fencing

Portable Extendamatic fences are perfect for quickly transporting safety fencing to different areas in a building. All portable fencing comes with wheels and once put in place, they can be locked so they do not move, reducing the risk of accidents and injuries. These units can also be "daisy chained" in order to increase the length of safety fencing in any given area. This also helps create irregular fencing shapes for restricted and dangerous areas.

Like the permanent fencing models, the portable ones also come with five-inch swivel wheels and optional interlocking wiring. They are also easy to set up and move, allowing for one-man operating. And if you need to store the Extendamatic, its collapsed measurement is 13 percent of its extended measurement. These fencing units come in six different models that come in these extended size measurements:

* 100 inches expanded, 15 inches collapsed
* 125 inches expanded, 18 inches collapsed
* 174 inches expanded, 24 inches collapsed
* 240 inches expanded, 32 inches collapsed
* 307 inches expanded, 40 inches collapsed
* 373 inches expanded, 48 inches collapsed.

Custom Design Extendamatic Fencing

While the permanent and portable Extendamatic fencing models provide consumers with plenty of options, you may need a custom design for certain industrial applications. If you need a fence that can clear trenches or floor obstructions, Extendamatics can be supported without bracing wheels. These fences can be installed by an installation team or Extendamatic can provide you with custom installation instructions. However, if the Extendamatic fencing will be attached to a machine, the installation instructions do not take into account any electrical wiring that is involved with the machinery.
