Fencing Styles

When it comes to fencing styles, there is no shortage of options:

* PVC
* Plastic Roll
* Aluminum
* Wood
* Chain-Link.

Fencing Styles

Each type of fence is suited for certain purposes. For example, if you want to build a pen for your rottweiler dogs, plastic roll fencing will not do the job. However, if you just need a fence to keep your garden safe from small pests, chicken wire and plastic roll fencing styles are well-suited for this job. Once you figure out what you need from a fence, you can start to research the options available to you.

Another example would be if you wanted to install fencing in order to enclose your in-ground pool. In this case, you can choose from among several fencing styles such as:

* PVC
* Steel
* Chain-Link.

PVC Fencing

You can buy PVC fencing styles in a variety of heights. This type of fence is durable, strong and has the vertical slats for enclosing a pool. Even though PVC is priced rather high, it boasts a long lifespan and does not need a lot of maintenance except for being washed on occasions. You can also purchase accessories for PVC fencing that can help enhance the beauty of the fence and the pool, such as:

* Corner Posts
* Decorative Elements
* Finials
* Locking Gates.

If you are handy at do-it-yourself projects, you will find that it is relatively simple to install a PVC fence in a short period of time.

Wood Fencing

The heights and styles of wood fencing are virtually endless. When made into paneled fencing styles, wood fences can reach up to eight feet high. Regardless of the style of wood fence, you will need to set the posts in concrete for extra reinforcement. You can also modify the fence by cutting it with a miter saw; this is a great way to add interesting design elements.

Chain-Link Fencing

Surprisingly, chain-link fences are available in colors such as:

* Green
* Black
* Blue
* Gray.

You can also purchase this type of fencing coated in plastic. All chain-link fencing styles are manufactured in large rolls that range in width from 4-12 feet. Sometimes, railings will need to be placed in a horizontal fashion at various places on the fence. This helps keep the chain-link material tight. Of course, the posts should be set in concrete. And in order to attach the fencing to the posts, you will need to use a special tool to bend the wire-loop ties.

Plastic Roll Fencing

Plastic roll fencing styles are soft and usually made in rolls that are four feet wide. These fences are supported by wood or steel support posts. Because of this material's nature, it is best used for temporary purposes like construction sites. While installing the fence posts, you can drive them in the ground by using a sledgehammer. Some posts come equipped with hooks that allow you to simply hang the fencing material. Plastic fencing styles are cheap and disposable.
